Who We Are
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Each volunteer is appointed by a judge to advocate for a child’s best interest in court. Our volunteers help judges develop a fuller picture of each child’s life. Their advocacy enables judges to make the most well-informed decision for each child.
What We Do
The mission of Heartland CASA is to provide trained, court appointed, community volunteers to advocate for a quick, safe, permanent home for all abused and neglected children in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties.
We are a volunteer-powered network of committed people from all walks of life who believe society has a fundamental obligation to give children a happy and safe childhood.
We are people just like you, who believe that every child has the right to be treated with dignity, to be safe, and to thrive in the embrace of a loving family.
