When Signing Up:

Community Partners: If you’re volunteering on behalf of one of the 20 Community Partners, please enter the agency name in the notes box after selecting your shift, and before clicking “Submit Opportunity.”

Sign-Up: This system allows you to sign up individually or as a team, whatever options works best for you. If you are doing a team sign-up, you will need email addresses for all individuals.
Shift Details:

Physical Requirements: This is a fast-paced, physically active role. You’ll be standing on concrete and working quickly for 2.5 to 3 hours without a break.

What to Wear: Closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes recommended) and a baseball cap.
Age Requirement:

Volunteers must be 16 years or older. For questions regarding age eligibility, please contact Sharon at finance@heartlandunitedway.org.
Training:

Online training is recommended and a link will be emailed to you.
Volunteer Duties:
Tasks include scooping ice cream, operating the cash register, restocking supplies, and general customer service. All volunteers are expected to perform a variety of tasks with a positive attitude!
Fair Entrance Tickets:

For all individual sign-ups, State Fair entry tickets can be picked up at Heartland United Way (1441 N. Webb Road) after August 15th.
