We are looking for caring, engaged high school students to build friendships with youth in elementary schools. Bigs (volunteer mentors) are matched with youth in elementary schools who would benefit from an additional caring person who is a positive role model. Not only do Bigs support their Littles (mentees) through building a healthy relationship, they also provide opportunities to learn new things and have fun.
There are hundreds of youth in the schools who would benefit from having their own Big.
We are currently recruiting high school students who attend Central City Public Schools, Grand Island Central Catholic, Grand Island Senior High, Wood River Public Schools, and home schooled students.
