Help out at the St. Francis Gift Shop, where net proceeds to toward funding programs and projects to create a healthier community!
Clerks greet customers, help as needed with purchases, pricing, other duties. It's a great way to see the merchandise as it comes in AND to visit with folks in the shop Shifts may be available Monday through Friday 9:30-noon, noon-2:30, 2:30-5, 5-7:30. Weekend shift is 11-2. Volunteers can sign up for a regular shift weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or choose to fill in when needed.
Applicants are required to complete two background checks, an application (contact information only), have a Tuberculosis screen (free of charge with our Employee Health nurse) and during flu season have a current flu vaccination (provided at no charge when requested).
Perks include invitations to our volunteer-only Christmas lunch/party and Appreciation lunch at Riverside Golf Club, free soda, tea or coffee during shift, voucher for up lunch (to a limit) when working during weekday shift around lunchtime, 10% off Gift Shop purchases and a fun, friendly, family environment! Training is also provided.
