Description

We are looking for trauma-sensitive volunteers who can help us deliver a scripted financial empowerment curriculum to survivors of domestic violence in a small group setting. YWCA staff will train volunteers and provide curriculum resources. We work around survivors' schedules, so this is an on-call opportunity. We will contact trained volunteers at least 48 hours ahead of time to see if they are available to teach a specific module. Volunteers must have a basic understanding of financial fundamentals like budgeting, credit, etc. The program has 5 modules; volunteers can choose to be trained on however many modules they would like.
