A hundred years ago, the community gathered to welcome home soldiers returning after the end of World War I. To commemorate that anniversary, Stuhr Museum is hosting a free, community wide celebration commemorating the end of World War I during our "Welcome Home" event on Saturday, July 20th.

This event features live music, presentations about World War I, a motorcycle show, photos, fun in Railroad Town and much more. A full list of activities will be posted when it becomes available. The day ends at 6 pm with a performance by the Offutt Brass outside of the Stuhr Building.

Volunteers work minimum 3 hour shifts beginning at 8 am. 

8 - 11 am; 11 am-2 pm; 2 - 5 pm; and 5 - 8 pm

Entrance Gate (2 volunteers per shift)

Parking and Traffic Control (5 volunteers per shift)

Food Preparation and Serving (5 volunteers per shift)

On Ground Guides (5 volunteers per shift)

Clean - Up 8 pm until done.
