Our 2nd Annual Outdoor Explore: Gardens & More! garden tour event is scheduled for June 23rd from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This event is where individuals purchase an event ticket for $15.00 (available at the Crisis Center, Hy-Vee, Ace Hardware, Earl May, Lewis Greenscape or on the event webpage: www.accelevents.com/events/gicrisiscenter. This ticket allows each individual to go on a tour of 7 outstanding yards and businesses in Grand Island and Chapman. These yards have outstanding features including: water features, firepits and more! We are looking for individuals who are able to sit at each yard and mark the location off of the event program as individuals arrive, as well as sell raffle tickets. There are a.m. shifts (8:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) or p.m. (12:30-4:15), or all day shifts available for 7 locations in Grand Island and Chapman.
The Crisis Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that benefits residents of Hall, Hamilton, Howard & Merrick counties and beyond. The Crisis Center works to break the cycle for all lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault by providing: safety, support, education for survivors and empowerment in a dignified and confidential manner.
